Dwayne Johnson: Forbes’ Highest Paid Actor… Again!
Dwayne Johnson has topped the list once again. Others on the top 10 list include Ryan Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, Ben Affleck, Vin Diesel, Akshay Kumar, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Will Smith, Adam Sandler, and Jackie Chan.
Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, has topped Forbes’ Highest Paid Actor list again. From June 1, 2019 to June 1, 2020, Dwayne Johnson has earned $87.5 million, which includes a $23.5 million from Netflix Inc to star in movie thriller Red Notice.
In second place is Ryan Reynold aka everyone’s favourite anti-hero Deadpool. Reynolds earned $20 million for Red Notice, plus another $20 million for Netflix movie Six Underground. These are a part of his $71.5 million total for the one-year period.
In third place is Hollywood actor and producer Mark Wahlberg. He was the Netflix action comedy Spenser Confidential, and earned $58 million dollars during the year. Following him were Argo‘s Ben Affleck and Fast & Furious’ Vin Diesel with $55 million and $54 million respectively.
The only Bollywood star in the top 10 was Akshay Kumar, who was placed at number six of the list. He earned $48.5 million, mostly due to product endorsements.
Others on the list include Hamilton‘s Lin Manuel-Miranda, the Fresh Prince Will Smith, Adam Sandler, and Jackie Chan.
