HUM TV and Moomal Productions Refuse to Pay Rabya Kulsoom
Rabya Kulsoom, an actress, was refused payment of her hard earned money.
Moomal Productions refused to pay Rabya Kulsoom the amount that she was promised. Her brother, Faizan Shaikh, chose social media as a platform to raise his voice against this injustice and unfair treatment.
According to Faizan Shaikh:
RABYA WAS THREATENED BY ANILA MUSHTAQ THAT IF SHE LEAVES THE COUNTRY AND DOESN’T SHOOT, HUM TV WILL BAN HER AND SHE WILL NEVER BE CAST BY ANYONE IN THE INDUSTRY. FURTHERMORE, HUM TV WILL GET HER UK VISA CANCELED.
So basically what happened was that Rabya Kulsoom had to fly to UK during one of her shoots due to some important work. She had already informed the production team about it in advance and had shot most of scenes. The AD and Anila Mushtaq allegedly threatened and yelled at her. She only got Rs.30,000 of the 182,000 that she was promised.
Faizan further added:
RABYA GOT HER FINAL CHEQUE WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 182K AND SHE GOT A CHEQUE OF ONLY 30K WITH A LETTER FROM MOOMAL PRODUCTION WITH THE BREAK DOWN OF ALL THE EXPENSES THEY HAD TO BEAR IN ORDER TO SHOOT WITH RABYA’S BODY DOUBLE MEANWHILE SHE WAS AWAY.
