Meray Pass Tum Ho Has Higher Rating Than GOT?
Meray Pass Tum Ho has gained a lot of popularity in the Pakistani market. It has received the highest rating ever in history of Pakistan.
Meray Pass Tum Ho has definitely shocked the whole nation. The phenomenal acting of all the lead roles and the storyline is mind-blowing. The main roles are played by Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan, Adnan Siddiqui. We’ve seen Hira Mani and Savera Nadeem too, as new entries in the story. This drama was not expected to reach the heights that it has, and it’s quite shocking.
The show depicts a simple guy who is married to a very materialistic woman, she later leaves her husband for a much wealthier person who apparently is also her boss. This is a short summary of the whole drama which has been spreading like wildfire. Every episode of this drama crosses almost 7 million views on Youtube, which is definitely a lot. It proves that people are actually liking the storyline and are eager to watch it. It does have some misogynist content but people are giving positive feedback regardless.
Someone pointed out that Meray Pass Tum Ho has more rating on IMDb than Game of Thrones. If you’re not familiar with GOT, then let me tell you how crazy people are for this show. Meray Pass Tum Ho has a whooping 9.9/10 whereas, GOT has 9.4/10 rating on IMDb. But it’s not really fair to count their rating because GOT has been rated by more people than MPTH. So technically, it’s not rated higher than GOT but it’s a good show without a doubt.
Apart from the rating, I think it also gained popularity because of the casting. We’ve found out that Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui are working together after 12 years. They both have a huge fan following and so do Ayeza, Hira and Savera. ARY Digital claims that the last episode was received the highest GRPs in the history of Pakistan.
