PNCA Now Offers Classes to Aspiring Filmmakers

The Film Production classes will include faculty members such as directors Sarmad Khoosat and Andre F Nebe, cinematographer Peter Bussian, and scriptwriters Lisa Locus and Saim Siddique.

Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) has announced one year Film Production classes for aspiring filmmakers. The course would create a basis for understanding cinema and how it connects to culture, history, and technology and aesthetics.

PNCA to screen award winning US movie on Wednesday

PNCA has gathered both international and local faculty to help filmmakers learn what they need to about filmmaking:

  • Sarmad Khoosat will teach the students how to direct;
  • Andre F Nebe from Germany will teach the students how to direct;
  • Peter Bussian from the USA will teach the nuances of cinematography;
  • Lisa Locus from the USA will  teach the techniques of script writing
  • Saim Saddique will teach the techniques of script writing.

The classes will be beginning from October 5, with the course containing 2 semesters. Last date for filmmakers to apply for the Film Production course at PNCA is September 5.
