Donald Trump is visiting England these days, however both Prince William and Prince Charles refused to meet him. They simply refused to meet him, without any solid reason so the Queen had to meet him alone. The Queen is usually accompanied someone, but this time she rode solo.
Since it wasn’t like a formal state visit, the normal rules didn’t really apply. The Queen had little interaction with Trump and the visit wasn’t as enthusiastic as it was when Obama came over.
