Sensational ‘Chai Wala’ Arshad Khan Opens His Café
Despite going viral in 2016, the sensational chai wala never fails to make headlines. This time around he has set up his own café in Islamabad.
Urdu News has reported that the viral Chai Wala, Arshad Khan is making moves in his career life. He has just opened up his rooftop café in Islamabad. The café is fully functioning now and has been named Café Chai Wala.
The former tea-maker revealed the reason for not including his name in his venture, stating, “Many people told me to change the current name and instead name it Arshad Khan, but I refused because Chai Wala is my identity.”
Arshad Khan also talked about how he is also working on his acting career while adding, “This is the most important thing for me right now because it is associated with my name so I dedicate a lot of my time to the café.”

Furthermore, the chai wala and now owner of Café Chai Wala also talked about his plans which include starting an organization to make education accessible to underprivileged children in Pakistan. This plan has a lot to do with the regret he feels for not being able to complete his education regardless of all the success and attention he has gained.
The café itself has a lot of cultural elements to it ranging, from truck art on the walls, desi straw tables and chairs along with Urdu scripts and much more. Apart from tea, the menu consists of a selection of 15-20 different food items.
He received delightful messages and applause for his success on social media. Despite going viral back in 2016, the chai wala never fails to make headlines.
