Time to Take Harsh Precautions Against COVID-19
It is high time that people go against the norms and fight for their lives. Pakistan has already crossed 250,000 cases with less than 162,000 recovered.
Festivals have always been quite exciting for the people of Pakistan. Their enthusiasm over Islamic festivals, usually surpasses the rationality of the on-going situations. And this is what has happened during COVID-19. People did carry out processions and also went out to buy clothes on Eid-ul-Fitr. People were seen lined outside clothing stores and make-up parlors, that were running secretly. Due to this, there was a notable rise in the number of cases in Pakistan. Where on one hand, Hajj has been limited to Saudis only, there Pakistanis are trying to be a part of every single festival that comes in the current duration.
Already, Pakistan has crossed 250,000 cases and more than 5,000 people have lost their lives. According to the World Health Organization, there was a rise of, 230,370 cases in 24 hours globally. It seems like there is a spike in the number of cases after a minor downfall. And the same can happen in Pakistan. Now, Eid-ul-Azha is just around the corner, and people are hyping up once again for this event. Cattle farms have been set up and people are more than ready to go and look for a satisfying animal that they would be sacrificing on Eid-ul-Azha.

This would, once again, give rise to the number of COVID-19 cases in Pakistan. I think it is time, that people should take precautions on their own. If they want to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha, they should pitch in ‘Ijtimai Qurabni’ rather than going out to ‘Mandi’ an buying it on their own. This would save their lives and the lives of people around them.
