An Indian restaurant in Dubai by the name of Bombay Borough has introduced a new addition to their menu. Now you can order a biryani platter worth over Rs43,000.

Bombay Borough is serving pure gold in this special platter – quite literally. The recently introduced delicious Biryani platter is worth AED1000. Bombay Borough is known for its exquisite cuisine in Dubai; the restaurant has termed the biryani platter their dish of the season.

The biryani platter comes with a variety of components in the dish. Bombay borough serves three kinds of rice with several options for gravies, vegetables and meats, all adorned in 23 karat gold in this platter. Bombay Borough shared a picture of this delish platter on their official Instagram page and wrote, “The dish of the season has arrived! Introducing the Royal Gold Biryani, Dubai’s most expensive Biryani.”

“This heavenly plate consists of Gold Leaf kababs – The Kashmiri lamb seekh kababs, old Delhi lamb chops, Rajput chicken kababs, Mughlai koftas and malai chicken roast served on a bed of saffron-infused biryani, complimented by a wide selection of our exquisite sauces, curries, and raitas. It is the exuberant journey to experience Royalty. This meal is served in a thaal and the Gold Biryani is garnished with 23 karats edible gold.”

Bombay Borough concluded, “Need we say gold more?”

The restaurant was recently visited by Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyaata.
